You can safely bet your last dollar that Wright was loudly defending Bill Clinton during the impeachment process. Furthermore, if there was no (semi-)black candidate in the Dim presidential race, Write would be loudly pimping for his congregation to vote for Hillary. So, although his statement about Bill is true, Wright is being exceptionally cynical and hypocritical in uttering it.
