Here’s an interesting thought, I agree he wouldn’t be in this position if he wasn’t black, but he also wouldn’t be in this position if he wasn’t half-white. SNL had a sketch a long time ago with Julian Bond claiming “everyone knows light skinned blacks are smarter than dark skinned blacks.” Garrett Morris would sit there saying, “Say what?”
