Here’s an interesting thought, I agree he wouldn’t be in this position if he wasn’t black, but he also wouldn’t be in this position if he wasn’t half-white. SNL had a sketch a long time ago with Julian Bond claiming “everyone knows light skinned blacks are smarter than dark skinned blacks.” Garrett Morris would sit there saying, “Say what?”
Of course it’s true. But you have to admit, it’s so damn satisfying to see white liberals hoist on the petard of racism, when they accuse conservatives of it everyday. Nice to know the sword they hammered and sharpened cuts both ways.
Everyone knows liberals like colored folk more. Especially the clean, articulate ones.
