And now Spitzer's entire anal-retentive, good paper-writing life has collapsed in the horrifying image of a frenzied masturbator.

LOL!

When Ann is down I will not kick her. Do you not see the difference?

Ann almost makes me feel sorry for Eliot Spitzer. Almost....

I do feel sorry for his wife and children.

I’ve been mailing letters since the 60’s. States always had 2 letter abreviations.

Sorry about that...you are so right! We have both possums and skunks out here in East Texas. I like them better than either Bill or Elliot.

It's the addiction to drugs or alcohol (or both) that usually leads to prostitution.

No it's not. It's the character of the person who is addicted to drugs or alcohol that leads to both.

What is a frenized masturbator, and how does Spitzer resemble one?

I can't explain it. Google "DUmmies in Mommy's basement looking at pictures of Chelsea"

One can almost hear the typical John, heavy-breathing into the phone: "And this one you call 'Busty Betty' -- does she come from a good family? Parents still together? What church do they attend?"

LOL - you are a jewel, Ann.

Eliot Spitzer, Harvard Law graduate

Proving once again that people that go to Harvard are dumb.

I try to take people at face value, and also try to see the best in what they’re saying, and not take things personally unless it’s a “you so-and-so”.

And I am not defending Spitzer at all. Adultery is inexcusable, be it Clinton, Craig, Vetter, Hart, McGreavy, etc. I also don’t know how religious Spitzer is, but that is irrelevant in this context.

I was disappointed Ann targeted his/my religion TWICE in the column. I wasn’t sure if she attacked his religion because she thinks Jews are more likely to commit adultery, or more likely to use call girls, or behave as total hypocrites. Whatever her implications, his religion is NOT A FACTOR, and had no business being brought up. If Spitzer was Catholic, and Ann had made reference to that, Bill Donohue would be up in arms. And he’d be right.

Wanna make fun of The ex-gov’s education, great (I make fun of Ivy League grads all the time). His politics, fine. His immense hypocracy, ABSOLUTELY. I’ll be happy to pile on to any and all of these CHOICES.

“I sort of thought that this business was really bigger and more about money laundering or something more nefarious than just whoring around.”

I still think it is bigger than this. Not just the putting himself in a position to be black-mailed, etc. but what about as AG and prosecuting a prostitution ring that is in competition with the one he uses - seems like abuse of power to me.

Now take it another step, what he did to many Wall Street Firms may have been similar, supply bad publicity for firms in competition to firms he was friendly with (or provided support in his run for Governor).

I’m happy to see this guy exposed as the creep he is.

She can take him to the cleaners and then hitch onto another rising star because God knows Spitzer isn't going anywhere now.

I think she's past her sell-by date to land another gig as a trophy wife. Additionally she'll get only what the prenuptial agreement specifies (and in the Spitzer family you can be sure there was one), and that amount, if it's a percentage of his worth, will spike tremendously once his father dies. I would guess that she will hang at least until dear old dad passes on, unless the prenuptial specified fixed cash amounts (which seems unlikely considering the difference between Eliott's current net worth and his expected future worth).

You see what you want to see.

Granted, Ann is difficult for some people to “get”, but there is nothing antisemitic in this column.

And there was hardly any “again and again” in it either.

No attacks, no targeting.

It's easy enough to find religious prejudice without squishing it in some where it is not.

Your posts are more anti-Christian than Ann's comments are anti-Jewish.

My posts are anti-Christian?

In what way?

Did I say something like “boy, what church did Clinton, Vitter and Craig learn their Bible?”

No. Because it would be a very stupid thing to say, and because their religion has nothing to do with their indescretions.

Is it because I pointed out the “told ya so” line hit me as anti-Semitic? I felt that way because Ann brought up Mrs. Spitzer’s “Southern Baptist parents”. Why should I care what religion her family is? That’s why I read that line as: the parents of the future Mrs. Spitzer warned that her fiancee would eventually do something bad, because he’s a Jew. Not that he’s from New York, or that he attended Harvard, but that he was a Jew.

If that makes me anti-Christian, then you are way, way, WAY off. I even pointed out that if Spitzer was Catholic, and Ann had subbed the word “Catholic” for “Jew” in the ‘told ya so’ line, Bill Donohue woulda flipped, with good reason.

Do I care what religion Spitzer, Vitter, Clinton, Craig, etc are, or aren’t? No. Because it’s irrelevant. It has nothing to do with any of these cheaters.

Believe me, I ‘get’ Ann. Alot more than you think.

I wouldn't say that. Whether or not Jews are more likely to be unfaithful I would never discourage someone from raising the issue.

We need to know as much as we can about people who misbehave. I want to know his race, religion and where he went to school. I want to know how he was raised. I want to know what rock he crawled out from under. I'll decide if his religion was a factor.

If someone sets off a bomb in the public square we should know if he was Jewish, Christian or Muslim.
