Disgraced Gov. Spitzer ...
a millionaire, was hopping into bed with harlots for as long as 10 years and traveled as far as Florida for call-girl trysts...
The prostitute-patronizing former prosecutor spent today huddled with top aides and lawyers in his Fifth Avenue apartment - trying to arrange a plea deal under which hed resign his office but avoid prison time - as he desperately clung to power despite growing cries for his departure, even among fellow Democrats.

Spitzer aroused suspicion when he tried to divide up a large financial transaction of over $10,000 into smaller amounts to avoid federal reporting requirements.
The governor then tried to have his name removed from the smaller wire transfers but his bank refused - and alerted authorities that something fishy was going on.

I have no interest in what a politician does in this regard, however, what amounts to the chief law enforcement officer of a state cannot flout the laws. He has to go.
To: george76
So the years are maybe up to 10 years of calling Ho's for service for Spritzer. The latest cumulative cost estimate came in at $80,000.
There once was a Govnr named Spitzer, Who couldnt control his own spritzer. He used his account for Kristen to mount, Got caught and its too late to diss her.

Eliot remember to say, "I never had sex with that ho, er woman!"

"Eliot -- PHONE HO"

Thanks for the memories #9

No comment from hillary or obama or mcCain for that matter.... Me wonders if this is just the start of a political avalanche that will causing heads to roll all over the political spectrum. I will bet they have the names of the other clients and then will ask for their comments on spitzer then do the gotcha.
The media loves nothing more than to be at the center of their own story.

I don’t know that he needs to ROT in prison. I’d settle for a felony plea (and resulting loss of voting rights), a short time in jail and a long probation.

Darn that is condemnable. I just posted this: "His lovely wife plain didnt care, as long as she and her children wanted for nothing, materialistically. That was the marriage trade-off, period."
Let's be certain. His own wife did not give one hoot about his money-laundering and sexual escapades, as long as she and her kids had wealth and power.

I disagree...people with busy schedule and trusting spouses don’t need to account for every minute for their day. This same thing is happening to a friend of mine. I asked her how she couldn’t know and she said that her husband, a successful executive, is always going to meetings and travelling out of state for meetings, etc. She doesn’t keep tabs on him, why would she? She never thought he’d cheat.

You know, your first instinct is sympathy for the wife, but sometimes the wife doesn’t deserve sympathy.
A classic example is Hillary!, who chose a lifetime of private humiliation and disrespect as long as Bill gave her opportunities for power. That’s why I have no sympathy for Hillary...she knew what Bill was doing and sanctioned it in her lust for power.
Is the same true in this case? Too early to say for sure, but let’s face it...the guy is a mean-spirited son of a bitch and his wife was fully aware of that fact. Reason enough to dump the bastard, but she hung on. Was if because she knew he was going places? That she might one day call the Governor’s Mansion home? As I say, too early to tell, but how could she not know the guy was rotten?

Spitzer is under investigation for money laundering and a violation of the Mann Act. All the media hype about his being hounded out of office for hiring a prostitute is smoke..... it's Clintonesque.
It's all up the the U.S Attorney in NYC to charge and prosecute or whatever.
Personally, I think he should resign, be taken into custody......and then released in his skivvies on Wall Street at 4:30 on a Friday.

Yes. It is often hard for a spouse to see something such as this when the other travels a lot for work and usually this is where and when the infidelities take place. It is even more difficult if the job dictates they work long hours. Thus the incredible anger not just at the infidelities, but also the sacrifices they have made (from an intimacy/togetherness perspective) for the spouse to have such a job and then be betrayed. (This is a ‘normal’ person that gets sideswiped once . . . ONCE—when it comes to acquisition of great power and great wealth I admit some people just let it slide if they feel they are getting the benies otherwise or will in the future.) Some people would rather have security and power then intimacy any day or atleast this is what they believe. It will be interesting to find out more about this woman.

Apparently his ‘freak’ craving was anal sex (without condoms) - his wife was simply not into satisfying his craving and he went elsewhere. It’s proving to be a VERY expensive taste for him, but WTH, he can afford it! Too bad for him the Governorship doesn’t include such perks at public expense. Too bad for him he ran afoul of the very kinds of laws that he used to enjoy enforcing so vigorously against others. I hope he doesn’t get to plead down to no jail time - he deserves to experience a cellmate who shares his proclivities for the wrong part of the anatomy.

I watched two media lawyers, prosecutors, on O'Reilly this afternoon. Both said they wouldn't press charges or bring the case to trial if Spitzer rolled over on others.
This maybe a possible outcome but I think the other Big Creep will fight it all the way to keep his governorship.

Back then people were saying, "You know, OJ is going to find out that prison life isn't all that different from his days as an NFL running back, when he had big black men opening holes for him".
