Eliot Spitzer, the Joe McCarthy of Wall Street, done in by a hooker. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy/s

Recent media reports have focused on the different treatment Warren Buffett and Hank Greenberg have received as the two parties to the same transaction. Warren Buffett is a liberal who generally supports Democrats whereas Hank Greenberg was a big donor to the Republican Party. On his way to the Democrat nomination for Governor, Spitzer didn't go after Democrats.
For example, he never went after Carl McCall who was involved in approving Grasso's salary package. He never went after Sandy Weill, who was up to his ears in Citibank shenanigans.
The unequal treatment of Buffett and Greenberg just fits the pattern.

Don’t slander Joe McCarthy like that. Joe was right about all of it.
Read “Blacklisted by History”. Outstanding book.

Please don’t sully McCarthy’s good name by associating him with the “ I’m a *&^%$^#@ steamroller” Spitzer.

Since you mentioned Hillary, Spitzer sound like a Clinton candidate for U.S. AG. His portfolio shares characteristics with Janet Reno!

Thanks for the info. When this story broke, to be perfectly honest, I didn't know too much about Mr. Spitzer, but I figured out pretty quickly that it was something like what you describe. Unfortunately, not surprising.

How did Spitzer get hookered up with this organization? Who referred him?
To: BusterBear
The unequal treatment of Buffett and Greenberg just fits the pattern.Exactly. Spitzer set out to do damage to people he considered to be enemies of the (democrat) Party. Which makes this little man even more evil than I first thought. Spitzer, the face of the Democrat Party:

I disagree. You are too kind. Every since the first time I saw him, before I even knew to which party he belonged, I though that this was evil incarnate. He makes Hillary look like Mother Teresa. His heart in coal-black. He is the product of removing the veneer of man that enables us to remain civilized, with a fellow love for man. He is a cold, calculating viper. In fact, if a play was made about the Garden of Eden, he'd be perfect. If civilization never saw a man like him again in our future, we would be very fortunate, indeed.
He is of a strain of man that would be equally comfortable working for the Stasi and the SS.

It's amazing to me that an apparent wackjob like Spitzer could actually become an AG or Governor.Never, but never, dismiss the incredible stupidity of the American people.
