>>>>>>The West is becoming Serbia..<<<<<

Spot on. For example, in France, there are 750 special zones (ZUS) where French police is forbidden to enter.

In tbose places, ranging from several buildings to the entire city blocks, jihhadists, common criminals and terrorists have built their bases.

Of course, under the tutelage of then Minister of Interior who is now President of France.

“Supporting Kosovo’s independence was the right call.”

Kosovo has been a battleground between ethnic Serbians and Albanians for hundreds of years. Independence won't change that. There will be one of two outcomes: (1) Serbs will maintain administrative control over northern Kosovo, including Mitrovica; or (2) there will be a repeat of the 1990’s, but this time a newly emboldened Russia will weigh in on the side of the Serbs, with potentially far-reaching consequences for NATO and Central Europe.

Think next time before posting, please.

The fact is Hague Tribunal was not able to prove Milosevic was a war criminal , that,s why he suddenly died.

That the bottom line whether one likes it or not.

Clinton did a terrible injustice to the Serbs by killing thousands, mainly women and children. By supporting independence, Bush has revealed his dark side.

Kosovo has brough a new paradigm into the concept of declaring independence. According to Kosovo experience, foreigners can infiltrate a country - such as Mexicans are doing to us with the blessing of McCain, Kennedy, etc. - and when they are a majority they can separate by declaring "independence." Will Washington recognize the new nation of Atzlan once the border states demand to separate from US?

“#2 is out of the question.”

Russia has been looking for a low-cost showdown with NATO. I don't think the US or NATO will risk a wider conflict to salvage Greater Albania, which is what an “independent” Kosovo plus Albania equals. If the ethnic Albanians try to exert administrative control over northern Kosovo, Serbia (with Russia's support) will move in. The best outcome is the status quo (#1) but this is the Balkans where the best outcome is never attained.

"US and NATO are in and it’s a done deal. EU is trying to absorbs all the Balkan countries so no war will be allowed."

The day that "no war will be allowed" is also the day that "No Freedom Will Be Allowed"!

What you are suggesting is that "the US & NATO" is backing the EU in taking the place of Tito in the Balkans and the Soviet Union in the rest of Europe. If that's the case, one shouldn't be surprised if those who love freedom hate the EU -- and hate the US & NATO for backing them.

What American troops in Kosovo really think:

"We weren't there to pick sides... This is my personal view, but I don't think there was a good and an evil that we were separating. We were separating the subtle bad choices." - LINK

“The Slavs came there in the 7th century ...”

The Slavs showed up in what we now call Bosnia, Montenegro, and Kosovo in the 4th century, mainly from Poland and the Ukraine.

“The West will live to regret its betrayal of the Serbs”

I’ve an open mind on the topic of “what went wrong in post-Communism
Yugoslavia/Balkans”.

Please find below an amazon.com link to an interesting book on the
subject that I’ve just started reading (on this very day!)

Unholy Terror: Bosnia, Al-Qa’ida, and the Rise of Global Jihad
by John R. Schindler

Let's face it. Compared to Saddam Hussein, Milosevic was a piker, yet all those people who were against the war in Iraq, were right behind our wag-the-dog president when, in violation of Internation Law, the NATO Charter and without the approval of the U.S. Congress, we bombed tiny Yugoslavia that did not have weapons of mass destruction, never attacked us nor were they ever a threat to us.

To begin with, the Serbs were not only fighting the Bosnian Muslims, but the entire Muslim world gratis Iran, not to mention the might of the entire U.S. military whose aim it was to occupy all of Yugoslavia - and this, even Milosevic would not allow - and rightly so, not to mention the media that were in collaboration with this draft-doding president. I'm not here to defend Slobo, but as far as all these atrocities attributed to him and the JNA, most of them were committed by Bosnian Muslim and Kosovo Muslim Albanians - i.e., Racak, that was the headquarters for the KLA, and the Serbs accused of the most vile of atrocities, such as the Trepca mines when Daniel Pearl exposed it to be a hoax - The Markale marketplace - where we bombed the Bosnian Serbs -

This is what Yossef Bodansky, the author of "Bin Laden, The Man Who Declared War on America," wrote in his 1995 book, "Offensive in the Balkans,"

"Phase Three started with the self-inflicted major terrorist provocation. On Friday 5, 1994, a major explosion rocked the Markale -- Sarajevo's main market place -- causing heavy casualties. What was immediately described as the ubiquitous "Serb mortar shell" was actually a special charge designed and built with help from HizbAllah experts and then most likely dropped from a nearby rooftop onto the crowd of shoppers Video cameras at the ready recorded this expertly-staged spectacle of gore, while dozens of corps of Bosnian Muslim troops killed in action (exchanged the day before in a 'body swap' with the Serbs) were paraded in front of cameras to raise the casualty counts.

"This callous self-killing was designed to shock the West especially sentimental and gullible Washington, in order to raise the level of Western sympathy to the Bosnian Muslims and further demonize the Serbs so that Western governments would be more supportive of Sarajevo's forthcoming aggressive moves, and perhaps even finallyintervene military."

There were other reports from European newspapers such as The Sunday Times," with headlines that read, "Serbs 'not guilty' of massacre, Experts warned US that mortar was Bosnian." (1 Oct. 1995), and "US Framed Serbs for Market Bombing," from the Stoneyhill Center, a British think tank. (Oct 1995).

But none of this mattered. Our presidents past and present had an agenda. To appease the Muslim world, even if it meant destroying a Christian people to do it.

But why is this so important now? It is because we have handed the Balkans over to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda and the media is absolutely silent.

To say that it was Slobo ALONE who commited the war crimes is totally obscene.

Please get a copy of John Schindler's book, "Unholy Terror, Bosnia, Al-Qa'ida, and the Rise of Globa Jihad," to see what the Serbs were facing - so if there were any criminals in this war, we can look inward.

Schindler makes the following points: - how the Bosnian conflict has been misrepresented by the mainstream media, covering up the learge role played by radical Islam and al-Qa'ida:

- how Osama bin Laden used Bosnia as a base for terrorist operations worldwide--including attacks on the United States from the Millennium Plot to 9/11;

- how veterans of the Bosnian jihad have murdered thousands of Americand and conducted attacks around the world;

- how the Clinton administration, in collaboration with Iran, secretly supplied Bosnia's mujahidin, incouding al-Qa'ida, with the millions of dollars of weapons and suppleis;

- how America's Bosnian allies have been in covert alliacnes with radical anti-American regimes and several countries;

- why Bosnia and its secret jihad matter to America and our War on Terrorism today.

John Schindler is a Professor of Strategy at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Islam,

And these are the forces that the Serbs had to contend with, with the West openly supporting the Muslim war criminals.
