Exactly what makes you think McCain ‘steered a contract’? The only thing McCain did was scuttle a corrupt deal made four years ago. Boeing should have been barred from even bidding on this contract. BTW, Northrup is a US company.

Every one being critical of McCain for Boeing losing need to chill out and explain exactly how McCain is responsble for Boeing’s loss. The decision to award this contract was made by a Source Selection Board. John McCain did not sit on that board and didn’t have a damn thing to do with who won this contract.

I recall that when Boeing moved its HQ out of WA it was downplayed by the company saying it is no longer an American company because its parts are manufactured around the globe, close to its customers, and it wanted to move its HQ to a global trade center. Don't cry for Boeing.
