this should also add some water to Lake Mead, which is drying out rapidly. As well as a lot of sediment. That will help to permanently fill Mead.

I’m in favor of more frequent spates if the desire and purpose of the dam is flood control to save human property.
this is not the case for this dam, it is for making electricity and if we waste the water now, it won’t be there in the summer when we need the power.
screw the fishes and sand banks for rafting!!
