Keisha M. Morgan, 25, who grew up in Washington and went through the District’s public schools, died Friday in Baghdad, where she was serving in the Army.
Spec. Morgan, who was on her second tour in Iraq, “loved the Army” and had recently reenlisted, her mother, Diana, said last night.
Her mother said she suffered two seizures in her barracks and was taken to a hospital, where she died
Rest in peace, soldier.
Keisha obviously came from a very fine family, and we pray they find comfort in the Lord, and from the support of the wonderful Patriot Guards.
Ed I saw this last night on the local DC news and it broke my heart. Showed many pics of this vibrant, beautiful girl that wasn’t too vain to go into combat.
God rest her soul and comfort her family.
