Not even close to the same thing. Southerners did not slip into northerners homes like thieves in the night and butcher them in their sleep.

So in other words, you don't endorse the right of rebellion in the face of oppression when it's YOUR people on the receiving end of the wrath of the oppressed. Again, you're the one who believes there have to be rules for rebellion.

The north will never be able to justify their aggressive military invasion of a free people seeking to form a system of governing that was more suitable to their lifestyle than the yankee lifestyle, and then the subsequent military occupation of the South, except through revisionism and lies.

The only justification necessary was that expressed by General Sherman;: "War is the remedy our enemies have chosen, and I say give them all they want." But if that's the way you feel, then why aren't you out there blowing up federal buildings like Tim McVeigh? Come on, isn't this intolerable yankee oppression? What are you waiting for?
