THE jury in Australia's largest terrorism case has been asked to consider the "evil" America has done, as a court judges 12 Melbourne men accused of plotting to commit "violent jihad".

Opening the defence case today, lawyer Remy van de Wiel, QC, told the jury America had suffered an enormous blow to its pride as a result of the September 11 World Trade Center attack.

Mr Van de Wiel described the attacks as "evil and shocking".

"But don't forget, America has done many evil things too," Mr van de Wiel told the court.

He also told the Victorian Supreme Court jury to be cautious about forming the opinion that Osama bin Laden, who it has heard was a hero to the leader of the Melbourne group, was responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

"To say this was all orchestrated by Osama bin Laden is also very silly," he said.

"He has never claimed responsibility."

Mr Van de Wiel, who is representing Abdul Nacer Benbrika, the alleged leader of the group, also told the jury similarities existed between the teachings of the Bible and the Koran.

And you're one pile of dung who will never walk down my street with a feeling of safety.

Well, we just recognized Kosovo for less-than-honorable reasons.

Opening the defence case today, lawyer David Duke, KKK, told the jury Germany had suffered an enormous blow to its pride as a result of the loss of the “Great War”.

Mr Duke described the punishments by Europe on Germany as “evil and shocking”.

He also told the jury to be cautious about forming the opinion that Hitler, who it has heard was a hero to the leader of the neo-nazi white supremacist group, was responsible for the post-WWII attacks.

“To say this was all orchestrated by Adolph Hitler is also very silly,” he said.

“He has never claimed responsibility.”

To consider anything the US did ‘evil’, this Remy van de Wiel moron has to be either grossly ignorant, some type of totalitarian or an atheistic nutcase.

I’m hoping a jury of good Aussies, (like Crocodile Dundee, for example), see through this idiot lawyer...yeah - I know, redundant...and find his “client” guilty.

And I hope the judge has the stones to throw the whole library at him.

Yes, since the Koran obviously steals from the Bible.

However, this is beside the point. The point is that certain men are trying to justify their actions by appealing to the text of the Koran. Not many Jews or Christians are fomenting violence on a mass scale by appealing to the Bible.

"To say this was all orchestrated by Osama bin Laden is also very silly," he said. "He has never claimed responsibility."

Mr. Van de Weil is a lying POS.

Here is a transcript of Osama Bin Laden in December 2001 acknowledging he not only approved it but claiming he planned it. OBL-9/11

The money quote:

"UBL: (...Inaudible...) we calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy, who would be killed based on the position of the tower. We calculated that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors. I was the most optimistic of them all. (...Inaudible...) due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for.

Shaykh: Allah be praised.

UBL: We were at (...inaudible...) when the event took place. We had notification since the previous Thursday that the event would take place that day. We had finished our work that day and had the radio on. It was 5:30 p.m. our time. I was sitting with Dr. Ahmad Abu-al-((Khair)). Immediately, we heard the news that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. We turned the radio station to the news from Washington. The news continued and no mention of the attack until the end. At the end of the newscast, they reported that a plane just hit the World Trade Center.

Shaykh: Allah be praised.

UBL: After a little while, they announced that another plane had hit the World Trade Center. The brothers who heard the news were overjoyed by it.
