To: Old Retired Army Guy

Looks likethe Gen. McPeak who says he is not a product of the 60’s will not go crazy. McPeak campaigned for Dean and then Kerry. Why some old guys get soft is beyond me.

In every barrel of apples, you can find a few bad ones. The bad ones are opportunists who see something benefiting them with a political appointment or ambassador position.

Not really so surprising. There were almost no military of high rank that supported either Dean or sKerry, so McPeak, the consummate opportunist, figured that he stood a good shot of becoming SecDef if either of the won.
