I agree that we are handling terrorism wrong. But to sit down and continue to talk about it won’t solve a dam thing. The US needs to go on the attack and do it now and don’t quit until the task is completed. We also need to bring all JAG officers back within our borders.

It is not very smart to just have a knee jerk reaction to this researcher. I agree we need more arab linguistics teachers, etc.I also agree to understand the enemy’s culture helps one to understand the enemy. We want to understand them to deal with them, not to join their culture or “surrender”.
However, there is a researcher who points out that the “poor, unemplyed youts “ is not the whole picture. He says it is more about when a country or culture reaches a turning point where there are too many young men who have no respect within their culture because they may be jobless or in some other way have no status. also, the delineation of the small terrorist groups follows more the gang structure than some global outgrowth.

That too. I also have another suggestion. Why don’t we learn Arabic and spend as much time infiltrating and subverting in their countries as the communists and Islamists spend in our country? We need to learn patience too. We need to compromise their society.
