I wonder how many homes you could power with 3 square miles of gas or nuclear power plant? I bet a lot more than 70,000.

I wonder how many homes you could power with 3 square miles of gas or nuclear power plant? I bet a lot more than 70,000. A typical nuclear plant produces 5-10 times as much power (and it does it 24 hours a day). It's footprint would be measured in acres, not square miles.
