What Every American Needs to Know About the Qur’an

A History of Islam and the United States – Excerpt One

William J. Federer

PREFACE

Thousands of books, documents and articles have been researched over the past several years in preparation for this book. You will be fascinated by this fast-paced history of the world from a perspective you have never imagined. Current events will come into focus in the backdrop of 1,400 years of inconceivable yet true events and conflicts.

Every effort has been made to present this information objectively. It is hoped this work is received that way. You will not be the same after you have read what every American needs to know about the Qur’an.

INTRODUCTION

In 2006, Keith Ellison of Minnesota became the first Muslims elected to the U.S. Congress. As reported by Niraj Warikoo in the Detroit Free Press, Dec. 25-26, 2006, Keith Ellison told his supporters: “You can’t back down. You can’t chicken out. You can’t be afraid. You got to have faith in Allah, and you’ve got to stand up and be a real Muslim.”

Ellison, who said little of being a Muslim while campaigning, went on to tell his Islamic audience:

“We’re going to continue to face them. They’re not going to stop right away. But if you, and me too, stick together, if we believe in Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala, if we turn to the Qur’an for guidance, we’ll find an answer to the questions we have.”

If one turns to the Qur’an, which Keith Ellison insisted on swearing into office upon, one finds many disconcerting verses within its chapters, called suras:

QUESTIONS?

Are these verses from the Qur’an taken out of context? Does it matter if a politician swears on a Qur’an? Is it Islamophobic to be concerned? Is Islam a peaceful religion?

A stock investment may sound good, but the investor must do diligence and examine the track record of its past performance. Similarly, one must examine the track record of Islam’s past performance to see how the Qur’an has been interpreted throughout history. As the axiom goes, “past performance is the best indicator of future behavior.”

In the next excerpt, we’ll learn more about the Hadith, Mohammed, how much the average American knows about Islam and about courageous, moderate Muslims.

This author is definitely taking Q'uran out of context.

Interspersed between these violent suras there are many useful tips on stock-breeding, wife-beating, and personal hygiene.

Islam isn't monolithic either. There are moderate Muslims out there who believe we infidels should be taxed, rather than slain. There are even divisions among Moderate Muslims. Some hold we should be taxed, THEN slain. Others say we should be enslaved, converted, but not taxed, and only slain if we revert to our infidel ways.

Now, why can't we all just get along? Sharía demands it!

Are we fighting a war on terror or aren’t we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation’s capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn’t they?

And I’m supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was ‘desecrated’ when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?..Well, I don’t. I don’t care at all.

I’ll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I’ll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia

I’ll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg’s head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I’ll care when the cowardly so-called ‘insurgents’ in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I’ll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I’ll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution’s Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don’t care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don’t care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed ‘special’ food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being ‘mishandled,’ you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don’t care.

And oh, by the way, I’ve noticed that sometimes it’s spelled ‘Koran’ and other times ‘Quran.’ Well, Jim my Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don’t care !!

If you don’t agree then please don’t complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

‘Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don’t have that problem’ — Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to add AND.......I hope you forward all this.

‘If we ever forget that we’re One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.’ Also by.. Ronald Reagan

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. American G. I.

One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

The Koran is poor for toilet paper, that’s for sure. It’s kinda like the Lone Ranger — rough, tough and don’t take crap off nobody.

I think it is pretty simple.

Islam is the religion of a caravan robber and bandit leader make good.

You can be a good Muslim and you can be a good person. You just can’t be both at once.
