I’ve heard Wisconsin is pretty close too. That plus taking into account Hillary’s lead in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas, I don’t get the whole “Hillary is finished” mindset.
Actually the latest polls show the following 9with my commentary for what it’s worth):
Obama with a 5-7 point lead in Wisconsin. Hillary is leaving Wisconsin which tells me her polls indicates she cannot win the state. Hillary has a history of fleeing the states she cannot win.
Texas is a dead heat with ALL the momentum on Obama’s side.
Although Hillary has a double digit lead Ohio will tighten before March 4th.
Folks, she HAS to win Wisconsin, Ohio and Texas big in order to truly compete for the nomination and as of this moment she may not win Wisconsin or Texas. Hillary’s campaign may say she will continue on to the convention but I have a hunch that donors and party leaders may shut her down long before the convention.
Ed Rendell, the Gov. of PA is a FOB (Friend of Billary). Ain’t no way Fast Eddie (who has goals and asprirations beyong the Keystone State) is not going to deliver PA for Hillary. No way. Not with the ‘machines’ in place in Philly and (to a lesser extent) Pittsburgh. PA goes Clinton.
Last I heard, The Clintons had a NINE-point lead in nOhio, hardly insurmountable, as it’s only going to tighten.
