At least 10 people suffered shock after a Qassam rocket hit Sderot Monday evening. One woman sustained mild injuries while attempting to take cover.
The rocket landed in a local yard, causing some damage to a nearby building.
The Popular Resistance Committees and Islamic Jihad's military wing, the al-Quds Brigades, claimed responsibility for the Qassam fire.

About half-an-hour later, three rockets landed in open fields in the Sdot Negev Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported.
The rocket barrages at the western Negev have continued throughout the day. Two Qassams were fired at Sderot at about 5 pm, and one landed near a house in town causing slight damage. Another Qassam landed at approximately the same time in an open field in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council, causing no injuries or damage.
Two hours earlier, two Qassam rockets fired from the Gaza Strip hit a kibbutz in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council, one of them exploding near a clinic.
Four residents suffered from shock and were treated to by Magen David Adom paramedics. Another rocket landed at the entrance to the kibbutz.
Earlier, two additional rockets landed in the Sdot Negev Regional Council. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
The al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad's military wing, claimed responsibility for firing the rockets.

The globalist anti-Semites are probably happy...as they continue to support a terrorist hate-state in Palestine
The IDF needs to station heavy artillery in Sderot and other Israeli settlements that are under Qassam attacks. When the missles rain down, the Israelis should open fire and launch 10 rounds for every rocket that is fired. Let’s see how long the Paleostains will accept the 10 for 1 offensive advantage of the Israelis.
Giving up Gaza for peace sure has worked out well. /s
BTW, has Israel ever gotten back the kidnapped soldiers? I don’t think so.
Carpet bomb Gaza. It’s the only way.
Destroy Gaza & anyone who stands in the way.
Time to knock off another Pali leader, just make the right statement...
Another crowd-pleaser for the terrorists at the US State Dept.
Shouldn’t the headline be “One person gets hurt, ten get a case of the vapors”?
I’m as anti-PLO/Hamas as anyone, but this headline is a little over the top.
Cherry picking gets Israel no where...
Not when it happens every day of the week and its been several thousand Kassams since Israel left Gaza. These folks (Hamas) have a death wish and I hope that one day Israel is not pushed to the limit.
The U.S. should send some of our armed UAVs over there to help monitor for rocket launches, and then put a couple hellfires on the fools launching the rockets.
At some point the next missile strike sends a person over the top.
Probably so, but the headline just rubbed me wrong.
If this stuff were happening in the U.S., we’d have carpet bombed them by now, even with a Dem President.
We would have leveled most of Gaza by now and had the population living in a concertina cordoned network of Tent Cities. Three changes of clothes and two books, and one purse size bag of personal effects. And that would be it.
A MLS rocket would be more effective if you didn’t want pinpoint accuracy.
“It never ends.”
How long can a people let this go on and on? The hell with the UN, the EU and every other European socialist organization. Declare war. Kill everybody and bulldoze the bodies and refuse into the sea. Then build condos on them.
You can’t negotiate with them so finish it quickly.
