A group of us were on MSNBC interactive television show.(It was a chat room and a bunch of us would comment on the news of the day)
John Gibson was the host of the show at that time.
When I signed on to chat there was someone on the chat line who was claiming us Americans would be sorry for our conduct. They were hinting at some sort of an attack.
Some of the chatters where razzing them, but others were very concerned that the threats were real.
I don't know if MSNBC every forwarded the transcript or not.
I remember the spinoff from the X-files—The Lone Gunmen had an episode of the government plotting to fly a large plane into a building—maybe have even been the World Trade Center. This was several months before 9/11. Kind of a weird coincidence.
