You better hurry because the last batch of Ron Paul pin-up calendars is going quickly. Which pleases Juliet Annerino no end because she sank a sizable chunk of her own change into printing up hundreds of these calendars to help fund the campaign of her favorite politician.
You've already missed Miss January, Lisa Kelly, a lifelong Democrat and mother of two who never dreamed she'd be posing in a slip to help a 72-year-old, 10-term Republican congressman in his hopeless run for the White House. Actually, that's her as Miss Liberty down below.

Can’t argue with you on those points, but the war is an important issue. I am not saying that the other issues are not imporatant as well but if he cannot see the importance of the war then Ron Paul is not qualified to be Commander in Chief, at least in my opinion.

I think I would be equally correct in stating that if John McCain cannot see the importance of securing our borders and not pushing for amnesty for illegals - then HE is not qualified to be Commander in Chief. I think secure borders are JUST AS IMPORTANT as fighting the War on Terror overseas. How many terrorists have crossed already???
Really. It is just insane to say that the War on Terrorism is the most important issue to you, and then say John McCain is most qualified to fight it. This is insanity!

In a somewhat related story a group calling themselves
Nuns for Peden announced they are working on their own calendar in support of Texas Congressional candidate
Chris Peden. The nuns have been actively campaigning for Peden against Ron Paul. "Chris is so cute!" said Sister Mary Jane O'Brien. The nuns, seen below just prior to walking precincts for Peden, have been 100% successful when asking voters if they can put a Peden yard sign out.

Actually I voted for Fred Thompson, had Ron Paul recognized the importance of the war I would have voted for him. I didn't like it when Ronald Reagan gave illegals amnesty and I didn't like the fact that McCain tried to give them amnesty either. Fortunately democrat (voters) didn't want amnesty anymore than republican (voters) and he was twarted. We could stop illegals tomorrow if Congress would pass a very simple bill that states illegals will not be given free health care at hospitals nor would their children be allowed to attend school. Furthermore, if you are found in this country and found to be here illegally you will lose any assests you may possess. I would like a further piece of legislation that states in you are in this country illegally and you are injured or killed that no one will be held legally responsible, meaning you couldn't sue and no one would be charged should you get killed, regardless of the circumstances.
But back to McCain vs. Paul. Ron Paul doess not have a chance to be the nominee, whereas McCain most likely will be. So I am looking ahead now to the general election which will be either Hillary or Barak against McCain. I will vote McCain, with a heavy heart I might add.

but I do have to wonder why if Paul is as isolationist as people suggest, why he said Israel had the right to go after Iraq preemptively?

Dr. Paul does recognize the importance of war. He's smart enough to stop sticking our noses into that hellish region and if they ever even think of coming here and attacking us, they'd be reduced to rubble. There'd be no going to the UN or "international community" under Paul, no dicking around with resolutions or listening to the hysterics in the Rat party and MSM.
You don't stay and fight these clowns for 100 years as McCain wants to, that's exactly what they want - for us to stay there and bleed to death like they did with the Soviets. Paul voted to go after bin Laden and even if the troops were withdrawn, there'd still be a contingent remaining to go after him. That's why all the troops have donated to Paul more than all of the other candidates combined.

stop sticking our noses into that hellish region Stop driving your car and heating your house and lighting it, watching TV, and get off your computer. And if the vast majority of the U.S. follows suit then maybe we can stop sticking our nose that hellish region.

You Paulies have all the answers don't you.
There are big and ever expanding markets that would allow them to market their oil without selling to us if they so desired. If they did sell to us we would be enriching those who want to destroy us, even more so than we already do, as the prices would be even higher.
By maintaining a direct presence there we provide a real level of threat. Yeah let's just disengage from around the globe and bring all of our forces and weapons home. When war starts breaking out we will just stay at home and let them fight for their own existence. When we no longer have any allies left and those that wish to destroy us control America's life blood, oil, do you honestly believe we can defend ourselves?
No, Ron Paul hasn't a clue as to how serious this war is and apparently neither do you.
