EAGLE PASS, TEX. — The family link that connects the mother of a man who recently identified himself as John F. Kennedy's son to the former president has its dusty roots in this scrubby town on the southern border of Texas.
It was here, in the late 1930s, over country club visits and long lunches across the Rio Grande at the famous El Moderno restaurant, that Lyndon Johnson began his friendship with Robert Bibb, a fierce Democrat and county judge whose 22-year political career cemented his reputation as a local legend.
Judge Bibb, who gave up his seat in 1964, kept strong ties to Mr. Johnson when he assumed the presidency after Mr. Kennedy's assassination in 1963. It is well known that the judge even spent nights at the White House, his son Gravis told The Globe and Mail.
However, family members of the late judge say they were stunned to learn this week that there might be a second connection between the Bibbs and the White House, one that runs deeper than the judge's.

From the article, this guy sounds like a flake.
The guy could be a flake, but I wouldn’t base my opinion on the article. The writer seems to go out of his way to throw in negative comments.
So there is an actual connection at that time period other than this guy just saying he is JFK’s son. This is DEFINTELY more interesting now.
And I KNOW LBJ was a woman chaser, the sleazeball hit on Jackie after JFK was shot. He was a perv.

Well, she has received the benefits of being a Kennedy, unfortunately she has to live the unfortunate part as well. The ‘bad luck’ of this family goes way back, but some of it is karma itself.
Maybe he’s a flake, but maybe not.
Looking at the dates, it looks like he waited until his father’s death (last year) to go public with this. That would explain the late timing of his revelation, and show that he cared enough to try to spare his father’s feelings.

Seeing the picture of his mother and now seeing Worthington’s picture, I can certainly see both his mother’s AND the JFKennedy look. He has the same shape of face as Kennedy, the same eyes and spacing between the eyes.
I’ll await the DNA evidence before I call him a fraud.

Now it needs to be shown whether this woman visited Washington in the early months of 1961.
He looks a whole lot more like JFK than John Jr. did.
I agree! JFK Jr. didn’t even look like a Kennedy, he lacked the bug eyes.
You are correct - a possible half-brother and further dirt about a father she no doubt loves. For her sake may this be a fraud.
I suspect Caroline has lived with a great deal of dirt and grime because of her family.
We want to believe the sins of the father don’t pass to the offspring. But, unfortunately it does all too often, as in Caroline’s case.

A cold, heartless flake. I’m astonished to read that his mother is still alive. Some people just have bad luck with their children, in spite of their best efforts.
Can you show me a Kennedy that is not a flake???
you know, she has only her flesh and blood children left.....and teddy........why wouldn’t she want to know if that is her half brother? I would.
