...The word on the street is that the Obama campaign and New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg have already met and devised an incredible plan if Clinton wins the nominee. Mayor Bloomberg would give nearly $1 billion to Obama's campaign after which Obama would bolt from the Democratic Party and run as an Independent candidate with king-maker Bloomberg as his running mate...

I guess this would explain that mystery meeting between Obama and Bloomberg a few weeks back.

this would be the opposite of Perot in 92. Yep, that’d be the Dems trainwreck alright. I don’t believe they are THAT stupid... But you never know.

Hmmmm ..?? Sounds like kinda wild speculation to me.

But .. this might not be good for the repubs .. or it could turn out to be a big wedge in the dem party and make it easier for McCain to win.

Yeah, I have a hard time believing that Obama would actually do this. I think he'd be more likely to wait four years and then cruise to victory after the spectacular failure of a Clinton or McCain term.

On the other hand, I find it very easy to believe that Bloomberg would have proposed this. Whether Obama would agree is another matter.

Regardless, I sure would like to see it happen.

Williams has been on the GOP payroll in the past and this just may be spin to stir up divisions among the Democrats.

Of course if it really happened it would be fun.

I thought Bloomberg with Hagel in tow was more of a front for McCain, but honestly I’m not sure what his game is.

I think this is more of a shot over the bow of Clinton ship and those Democratic Super delegates.

I love it!

The democracks are finally admitting just how dirty the Clinton Co-Candidates really are in their quest for POWER.

They are already preening Chelsea to run so that America will become a Clinton Dynasty and then once Bubba is able to worm his way into the U.N. Secretary General position, they figure they will own the world.

Unscrupulous, power hungry and dirty pool players will do ANYTHING to win.

Unfortunately....Obama better hire some security guards and have someone check his food before he eats it.

Bubba could slip him a Mickey!
My heavens!
The Democrats are imploding!

LOL

I really hope there's something to this. We know for a fact that Obama and Bloomberg had a mystery breakfast meeting at the end of November. Apparently this speculation has been around for a while.

This explains why McCain is so smug about giving the green weeny to conservatives.

Wow! A train wreck for the Dems is in the making.

I doubt it. This sounds like wishful thinking from Republicans.

No matter who the nominee is, the Democrats and liberals are smart enough to line up to support him/her.

This may all be a lot of wishful thinking; but if Hillary actually took the nomination—especially through sleazy means—I bet there would be a lot of angry Obama supporters that would follow him on an independent ticket.

Rush claimed this would happen if Huck got the R nom.

Apparently Bloomberg is willing to do anything to kill off the Krintons. Good for him, and us.

I think any third party candidate will hurt the GOP more.
