Barack Obama's primary-night results were strikingly underrecorded in several districts around the city - in some cases leaving him with zero votes when, in fact, he had pulled in hundreds, the Board of Elections said yesterday. Unofficial primary results gave Obama no votes in nearly 80 districts, including Harlem's 94th and other historically black areas - but many of those initial tallies proved to be wildly off the mark, the board said. In some districts getting a recount, the senator from Illinois is even closer to defeating Hillary Clinton. Initial results in the 94th, for example, showed a 141-0 sweep for Hillary Clinton, but the recount changed the tally to 261-136. As yet, none of the results have been certified, but a ballot-by-ballot canvassing of all voting machines has begun, a board spokesperson said. Many of the mistakes were chalked up to human error -- and some Clinton tallies were wrong as well. In several congressional districts she was shown as having received zero votes when in fact she got hundreds, Boe said. Brooklyn City Councilman Charles Barron called the understated figures "outrageous." "I think this is an all-out effort to stop a campaign that is about to make history and render America's first black president," he said. I went to my usual polling place on primary day to find it was not open, no signs, no nothing. So I thought maybe super Tuesday did not include NY. I’m feeling disenfranchised.

I’m sure Obama knows all about this coming from Chicago. Jam the straight Republican lever on your voting machines. When they complain, give them a paper ballot. When they leave, discard the ballot. End of the day, pull straight Democrat lever. Problem with jammed lever solved. Votes match voters, nothing to investigate.
When I lived in Chicago I never voted straight Republican in the General election. I always went through and selected all the Republicans individually.
I worked as an election judge last Tuesday on the Diebold touch-screens. I’d be curious to know what they were using in NY.
Even the ones cast by dead people.
I don’t know, but it sounds like only machine backed candidate votes get counted on New York voting machines.

Ah, the Dems getting a taste of what they’ve been doing to Repubs for years. How does that medicine taste????
And someone should really take a close look at Senator Robert Menendez’s apparent certainty that Hillary would win NJ and her showing in North Jersey, too. It would be interesting to see how many dead Democrats pushed her over the top in NJ.
