Actually..LBJs’ wife had the largest building company in VietNam for Barracks and the like..and LBJs’ mistress says the VP orchestrated it!
Likely an urban legend.
But I always heard that LBJ ducked and covered his head seconds before the first shots were even fired.
I tend to think that more than 1 shot came from the DALTEX building.
