John McCain armed Kosovo Islamic terrorists
Svet via Serbianna ^ | February 13, 2008 | Staff

"He (McCain) did everything that we asked of him, including arming the KLA", said Albanian lobbyist Joe DioGuardi. The Albanians collected one million dollars for the presidential campaign of this senator.

Americans of Albanian heritage collected a million dollars in one evening for the presidential campaign of Republican Senator John McCain, said the Albanian American Civic League yesterday, the lobby group headed by former Congressman Joe DioGuardi. A reception for McCain was held January 22 at the Saint Regis Hotel in Manhattan, and the senator, who is now leading in the runoff for the Republican party candidacy in the November elections, cut his campaign in Florida by one day to attend this gathering.

"Even in 1998 when we had problems with Milosevic, McCain did everything that we asked of him to the benefit of the Albanian people, including arming the KLA", announced DioGuardi. "We are American Albanians and we need a leader who will strengthen this country... We must support John McCain because he did everything we asked of him for Kosovo, from supporting the Kosovo Liberation Army to supporting the independence of Kosovo. Two years ago he spoke in Brussels and said that independence is the only solution", concluded this former congressman who has been fighting for the independence of Kosovo and Metohija for more than twenty years.

He explained that the first thing McCain said to him when he entered the hotel in Manhattan on January 22: "Joe, I saw your people in Michigan, and in South Carolina and in New Hampshire", from which this lobbyist deduced that all Americans of Albanian background will be voting for the senator from Arizona.

DioGuardi and his wife Shirley Cloys-DioGuardi have been friends with McCain for years, and he intervened several times in the Senate on behalf of the Albanians. Because of that, the Albanian American Civic League awarded him the "Balkan Award for Peace" a year and a half ago, and the initiative was the proposed Senate resolution - which McCain wrote - in which thanks is extended to the Albanians for "saving all the Jews who lived in Albania or who sought shelter there during the Nazi Holocaust".

However, even though he is leading in the presidential nomination, John McCain has not yet succeeded in convincing the primary wing of the Republican Party - the conservatives - that he is the right candidate. One of the reasons is that he often spoke and voted against the majority Republicans, as in 1999 when he asked for more intensive air bombing of Serbia.

In April of that year, three weeks after the bombing commenced, he announced that the US is in danger of losing the war to the Serbian Army which has "antiquated machinery" and "absolutely no military air power", if massive strategic air attacks are not initiated. "Attacks on any infrastructure target must not be prevented. We all regret civilian losses, as well as our own, but they cannot be avoided," he said.

During the pre-election campaign in February 2000 at a meeting in Manhatten, John McCain asked for the release of all Albanian prisoners in the prisons of Serbia proper, and a year later he used his influence to ask the administration for an urgent investigation into the killing of the brothers Bitici who were taken from prison and killed in the police training center in Petrovo Selo in eastern Serbia. This February 5 the senator held another meeting in Manhattan and in the public there was a visible Albanian flag.

How could the republican sheeple vote for this sorry excuse of a man. Why would he support muslim illegal aliens in Kosovo who after they came into the Christian nation wanted the whole damned country. It is painfully similar to the Mwxican border disaster this man has fostered.
Anyway its over. McCain couldnt be elected dog catcher.

I had forgotten how McCain originally led the charge for intervention in Kosovo. He was, perhaps, the most vocal of the Senators who favored intervention. At the time, there was no apparent reason for him to do so.

Now there is.

He also swallowed the Racak hoax whole. Not a good sign...

He needs to make up for this. You can’t arm Islamofascists and then claim you’re going to win the war against them unless you show more leadership than we’ve seen to date, leadership which acknowledges that there are bad Islamofacscist elements, domestic and foreign, in Kosovo.

Yes. Clinton led the charge, but McCain joined right in.

Now I’m wondering whether it was part of the deal he had during clinton’s last years in office, when he agreed to play ball with clinton in return for clinton calling the DEA off Cindy. They were after he for having stolen drugs from her nonprofit employer.

It was an open and shut case, but clinton, ever the politician, made a deal with McCain and called them off.

Interesting. Thanks for the heads up.

The fact that Reagan started this organization doesn’t mean that it is conservative, or even a good influence in the world. I spent some time looking at various articles posted there, and they strike me as naive and liberal in their orientation.

In fact, pretty much like yet another NGO going around making more trouble for the world. Now, I know, that’s a large generalization after only reading half a dozen articles. But there was some pretty disturbing stuff, IMHO.

MEMBER OF CONGRESS 1985— 1989

W&snNowN, DC. 20002

June 6,1991
Hon. Robert Dole
141 Hart Building
Washington D.C. 20510

Dear Senator Dole,

On behalf of over 10 million Albanians around the world and especially the hundreds of thousands of ethnic Albanians here in America, I want you to know how deeply we appreciate all you are doing for Kosova. Because of your personal efforts and legislative initiatives, the United States policy towards a disintegrating Yugoslavia has now taken a positive turn for Albanians and other nationalities seeking democracy in Yugoslavia.

Yet, in spite of the constitutional crisis instigated by the Serbian communist regime, the continuing pattern of gross human rights violations against the Albanians in Rosova and even in the face of your recent admonitions to the Administration - to follow the guidelines in existing law - the secretary of State deoided to resume aid to Yugoslavia in what looks like a clear violation of the spirit and letter of the Nickles Amendment to the Forein Assistance Act. Even though Mr. Baker sternly rebuked the Serbian authorities for their repressive measures against the Albanian people of Kosova and said that the Republic of Serbia would be “penalized” under the Act, the resumption of aid to even democratic Croatia and Slovonia right now we believe would seriously injure the democratic aspiration. of the Kosovars. Let me explain.

Many scholars and political observers agree with the concept of rewarding only those Republics that have held free and fair elections and that promote democratic change. They agree that it is politically and morally correct because it would penalize the intransigent communist Republics of Serbia and Montenegro and reward the others. In effect the secretary of state has adopted the spirit of your bill by ?certifying? under the trickles amendment while at the same time ? “penalizing? serbia. while these current events appear to favor the Albanians in Kosova, the problem for them is still very complicated and the future security of Kosova is far from certain. Kosova has not been officially recognized as a Reublic (even by Croatia),. is currently occupied by Serbian special forces and for all practical purposes is treated merely as a part of Serbia. As things stand now, even our assistance (speaking hypothetically) to a potentially democratic Serbia would again exclude Albanians in Kosova, since it has been historically demonstrated that Serbia does not want to see the full development of Kosova.

Senator, Albanians in Yugoslavia, three million of them, are caught in a very difficult dilemma. While they would even wish to set Croatia and Slovenia as sovereign jurisdictions, because such sovereignty would protect these two northern Republics from Serbian interference and possible domination, a loosely knit Yugoslavia (or dissolved Yugoslavia) that would result would leave Albanians alone at the mercy of Serbia with no balancing support from Croatia and Slovenia. We have concluded, for these reasons, that barring any unexpected developments in Yugoslavia which improve the position of the Albanian population there, it is still in the interest of the Albanians to see a federated Yugoslavia, democratic and responsive to all her peoples? needs and interests. In such a situation, free and fair elections should inevitably produce the establishment of a ?Republic of Kosova?, freely arrived at and legally recognized as en equal and independent unit within the framework of a federal Yugoslavia. Such a development would place Kosova on the earns rooting with the other Republics.

At the same time, we believe that the Bush Administration (at least for now) should not respond to appeals for direct aid to democratic Croatia and Slovenia. If such aid were granted, we would lose all leverage to improve the plight of the Albanians, who would be left to the mercies of their Serbian overlords. For their part, the Croatians and Slovenians must demand that Kosova be given Republic status within Yugoslavia, so that the democratic voice of the Albanian Kosovars can be added to their own in the nations councils, only in this way will the territorial integrity of the Yugoslav state be preserved, and the cause of democracy and human rights advanced in accordance with Bush Administration goals.

Therefore, we hope that you would keep the plight of Kosova alive with your colleagues in the senate and urge the Administration to hold of f on all aid to Yugoslavia. while urging the Yugoslav Republics to put aside ethnic animosity and work toward true democratization. In view of the life and death nature of the situation in Kosova and all of Yugoslavia we implore your assistance.

Senator, for the Albanian people of yugoslavia and around the world, ? these are the times that try mens’ souls.? It was over two hundred years ago that Thomas Paine used these words to rally the American Colonies against the tyranny of King George III. Those words are no less significant today in light of the barbaric tyranny of the serbian communist inder, Slobodan Milosevic We desperately need your help in crafting a solution that? would ensure the Physical security of the Albanians in Yugoslavia and the political, economic and cultural integrity of their beloved ancestral homeland, Kosova.

Sincerely,

Joseph J. Dioguardi
President
Albanian American Civic League

Yup, the only one left whose hands don't have Serb blood on them is Obama (considering Hillary as Bill's Lady Macbeth). (And no, Huckabee is not actually still in the running.)

I'm beginning to wonder whether the election of a murtad fitri as POTUS, and the certain reaction from the feverswamps of Islam, at last concentrating the collective mind of the left on the danger posed by the most violent and retrograde varieties of Mohammedanism, might actually be the best we could hope for from this election.

The scary thing about a McCain presidency is that we may again be bombing Serbia

Serbia has just elected a very pro-Serbian govt who wants to keep Kosovo at any cost

Kosovo is the ancient homeland of the Serbs. This means quite a bit to them

Also, not only McCain may be helping Islamofascists, he will hurt further...already strained relations w Russia. Russia and Serbia are cultural and religious cousins...

McCain foreign policy could be as scary as Obama/Hillary

They stood by then President Clinton for the sake of standing as one nation.. That was a military involvement that America should never have been involved in.

MC Cain ommitted the important fact - Albania was under Italian occupation and Italy did not persecute the Jews. that's why the Jews survived. In Kosovo, Albanian hunted down Jews, the same as they hunted Serbs. Today, Kosovo is JUDENREIN.

Albanian manipulation of the documented historical facts is pure Holocaust revisionism and Mc Cain is Holocaust revisionist if he supports it.

OK, that's a Wow! We knew that Dole was pro-Albanian, but where did that letter come from?

Very interesting that the Kosovo Albanians didn't want Croatia or Slovenia to get independence until they had maneuvered themselves into the right position within Yugoslavia to launch themselves out.

One thing that always stuck out like a sore thumb to me was how each ethnic group -- the Slovenes, the Croats, the Bosnian Muslims, the Kosovo Albanians all told of "centuries of abuse" with exactly the same stories and the same buzz words, and yet they all waited neatly in line to make their exits. I mean, if all their stories were true, wouldn't they say the same things using slightly different words and wouldn't it be natural instinct to all split at once? Like, "Damn, Serbia is busy dealing with Slovenia and Croatia splitting, why don't we declare independence now, too & make a run for it?" But instead, they all stood in line and waited their turn like good little German soldiers, as though the whole thing were planned. Even an American cop friend of mine said the same thing, "The break-up of Yugoslavia was all rehearsed and planned. Nothing in real life happens with such precise political organization."
