I don’t think Penn realizes that many who laughed at the joke will still vote for Hillary for the same reason that many pubbies who laugh at McCain’s idiocies will still vote for McCain. It was a funny joke, a quick witted jab that would draw a laugh even out of a code pinko type. I have laughed at a lot of the anti-Bush jokes from the left but still voted for Bush twice.
However, watching the video drove me nuts. Penn was waving his hands, rubbing his face, wiping his nose, etc. - constantly. It was like he was wound up like a cartoon character. He never stopped. It was distracting and very un-professional. Every time he rubbed his fingers under his nose I cringed. Where do these people learn their manners?
I for one am not underestimating the Clinton Machine.

Penn’s stage persona is a hyperactive obnoxious loudmouth, reminiscent of Neil Boortz’s tagline “turning a nasty personality disorder into a pretty good living.”
I’m glad the masses are not as dumb as I was beginning to think they were.
