Embattled Muslim aide to leave Pentagon job
World Net Daily ^ | February 11, 2008 | Staff

Hesham Islam's 'resume didn't add up,' official says

In a stunning turn of events, a high-level Muslim military aide blamed for costing an intelligence contractor his job will step down from his own Pentagon post, WND has learned.

Meanwhile, his rival, Maj. Stephen Coughlin, a leading authority on Islamic war doctrine, may stay in the Pentagon, moving from the office of the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to the office of the secretary of defense. However, sources say a former U.S. ambassador to Turkey is trying to block his new contract.

The top Pentagon aide, Egyptian-born Hesham H. Islam, came under a cloud of suspicion after reports raised doubt about his resume and contacts he had made with radical Muslims. He is expected to leave the government next month, officials say.

Islam and Coughlin recently quarreled over intelligence briefings Coughlin presented showing a close connection between the religion of Islam and terrorism. Coughlin's contract with the Joint Chiefs, which ends in March, was not renewed.

I don't get it. How does a "contractor" hold rank? Or, how do officers in the military receive "contracts"? It would all make sense (to me) if the word "contract" were replaced with the word "assignment."

Maybe our criticism of this scenario has actually produced some level headed thinking in the DOD?

Loyalty to any enemy philosophy is a dangerous omission of security. A top ranking Muslim in the Pentagon has to raise some questions about where his loyalty actually lays.

The Pentagon is filled with plenty who shouldn’t be there. As far as Islam and others like him, President Bush has been just as naive/clueless as Clinton was as to determining good Muslim/bad Muslim.

The business of not being all that picky with resumes in the government began about 30 years ago.

It occurred coincident with the manifestation of a number of new EEO rules, some strange lawsuits benefiting women, and a general downgrading of the requirements necessary to become a top level manager in the career civil service.

The idea that resumes need not be reviewed spread to the top.

From what I remember, this guy raised a huge stink about relating terrorism with Islam. Yeah, I suppose we should relate terrorism to Quakerism, right?

Yes, the war is with Islam, and has been since muHAMed conquered his first village and forced them to convert to his version of Islam.

If you refuse to go to war with Islam, you have the ONLY other two choices: conversion or dhimmitude (humiliating subjugation).

Leaving next month? What’s wrong with today?

In a normal business enterprise, if an employee presents a challenge to the mission of the company, s/he is out the very day the challenge is confirmed. Why give Islam more time to obtain information from inside the Pentagon?

We Americans really never learn, do we?

Yes. A friend of mine had a son in Iraq. He made a point of making sure he never took a Muslim interpreter with him, because he had the sense he was being led into the enemy's hands over and over again. It got him in trouble with his colonel, but he lived. The only Muslim who can be trusted is one who renounces Mohammed as the stinking child-abusing con man that he was.

He bought Islam’s entire schtick, every last word.

"I've spent some time reaching out to Muslim-American communities, who are woven in an absolutely integral way into the diverse fabric of American life. It turns out that Muslim-Americans--who come from many different national backgrounds and sects--are, on the whole, more successful economically than the average US population. And a great number of Muslims in Israel have also achieved remarkable successes, some quiet noteworthy--like the Arab Muslim Ali Yahya, who serves as Israel's Ambassador to Greece.

It would all make sense (to me) if the word "contract" were replaced with the word "assignment."

Members of the military and civilian employees of the federal government receive assignments -- they are members of the military or government employees.

Civilians, not employed by the federal government, receive contracts -- they are contract employees.

Good News ((((PING))))!!!!

Boy someone really screwed up with the background check. It looks like Coughlin passed the WH interview he had.

This is a big screw-up though. I’m curious who is Islam’s patron? Is it England or someone else?

"For example, Claudia Rosett of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies wrote a column challenging key claims in Islam’s official biography. Within days, a Defense Department profile of Islam was removed from the department’s website.

A Pentagon spokesman said it was “taken down in an attempt to reduce the rhetoric and the emotion surrounding this issue while we try to determine the facts.”

A senior U.S. official says the life story Islam presented now appears sketchy.

“His resume didn’t add up, and he knows it,” the official said. “He’s voluntarily leaving the government in March.”

At the same time, a report by terror expert Steven Emerson revealed that Islam, as special assistant to the deputy secretary of defense, has scheduled at least two meetings in the Pentagon with Syrian-tied radicals – including a leading member of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood – in direct violation of U.S. policy.

As WND previously reported, FBI officials believe Islam is involved with the U.S. branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and is helping its front groups run “influence operations” against the U.S. government."

".......Islam, whose son is active in the military, obtained one of the highest security clearances for classified information. Sources confirm he has sat in on Pentagon meetings in which intelligence clearance was restricted at the Top Secret/SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) level."

Mr. Coughlin wrote an excellent 320+ paper carefully documenting that the Koran supports Jihad.

Here are some good links regarding the attempted firing of Stephen Coughlin by the Islamist wing of our government. Some posts by fellow FReepers are excellent.

His resume did not add up? What kind of liberal back peddling is this shote. The guy is a traitor, or a 5th column liberal socialist spy!

Hesham Islam is a Taqiya agent.

His job was to dull the edge of the US military so that the jihadis would be able to gather their forces, focus them, depose the House of Saud, and take Mecca n behalf of the jihad. Its not too harsh to say that Hesham Islam should be taken to the nearest shooting range and there executed as a traitor in time of war. His AH buddy Gordon England should be put on trial.

This current result is thanks to some true believers inside the FBI, who got wind of this treason and ran with it.

The DoD should not be allowed "damage control" on this situation, heads SHOULD roll.

The damage control shows that we still have a lot of work to do to get rid of this nest of Muslim vipers and their dhimmis.
