Here are some excerpts:

“...civilian progress, and the Pax Americana, will not be achieved with the Foreign Service and the State Department’s bureaucracy at the helm of America’s number one policy consideration.”

“Foreign Service officers, with ludicrously little management experience by any standard other than your own, are not equipped to manage programs, hundreds of millions in funds, and expert human capital assets needed to assist the Government of Iraq to stand up. It is apparent that, other than diplomacy, your only expertise is your own bureaucracy, which inherently makes State Department personnel unable to think outside the box or beyond the paths they have previously taken.”

The real failed state is the state department.

Bolton knows it but no one is doing anything about it are they?

I don’t think Miranda ever got the “Never write a memo when you’re mad” memo.

Kenneth Timmerman wrote a book, The Shadow Warriors, about just this subject. There are anti-Republican activists in all Departments of the Federal Government level who are determined to destroy any conservative administration.

Manuel Miranda? Isn’t he the staffer who hacked into the Democrat computers and exposed Teddy Kennedy’s lies and duplicity? I forget what was going on.... judges, maybe.

Dennis Prager interviewed Kenneth Timmerman on his show. It was a riveting hour!

It is very instructive to observe the behavior of those institutions of government that have been most infiltrated by the elitist left. Certainly, State is high up on that list. These effete, pompous, sanctimonious asses consider Bush to be a dunce and a fool. They have worked tirelessly to undermine his decisions as President and Commander-in-Chief. There was a day when this behavior would be considered treason - now it is simply another example of the incomptence of the left.

"The problem is institutional. The State Department bureaucracy is not equipped to handle the urgency of America's Iraq investment in blood and taxpayer funds. You lack the "fierce urgency of now."

Our State Department hard at work undermining President Bush's policies in Iraq. These leftist leaning state department officials have more than likely, deliberately ordered the slow-down of any progress because of their opposition to our being there to begin with.

Unfortunately Ryan Crocker the modern “Lawrence of Arabia” yecch-— was appointed by Bush.

He has done little - in fact impeded any progress - to fix the mess in Baghdad.

Nah, you can write it, but you have somebody you trust "proof it" before you send it out.

Then after he asks "Do you feel better now?", you go and write the more tempered memo.
