You called it. The key (weak pun) is that he has only served about two years of seven years. I understand that male nurses have to be employed 24 hours around the clock. His right hand will not do.
It may be a defeat, but he could be sent back to whatever hell hole he came from. My countrymen do not seem to want coddling this man.

Make him serve his seven years in Britain. As soon as he walks out of the prison after seven years hand over to the US and he gets a flight to the USA and prep walk into a federal jail cell.
