McCain can win is by mobilizing the conservative base like Bush did but that means he loses the liberals and pass some type od socialized medicine into law. He he wants to go after a true special interest he’d gut the trial lawyers. But he won’t. John Mc Cain is the modern era Benedict Arnold. We and the dRAT’s have something in common. The base of each party is currently motivated not by any inspired support for one or more of its own candidates, but always and only out of a dread of how the country might suffer at the hands of the candidate from the opposing party. McCain can’t win. Mccain cannot win unless we have a major domestic terrorist attack in the next 9 months. I believe we will avoid any attacks with W. still in the oval office, which means we will be voting on the issue of the economy, which McCain says he doesn’t understand and Hillary promising to give away the store. I think the point that Tall Horse is trying to make is that the RNC has set the republicans up to lose. By backing a total losing candidate. McCain will not win..the RNC doesn’t want him to.
My loyalty is to the republic, not the republican party. There is absolutely nothing McCain could McCain say or do in the next nine months to make this conservative believe that he is a changed man and would somehow govern against his record.
