Yes, and he did it by questioning the Christianity of Fred.

Ann is right on her stance against McCain. I think her outlandish position to vote for Hillary is meant to wake up America. As she says it would be better to have Hillary as president so the Liberals would be blamed for the undermining of this country that would occur instead of have a Republican!

WAKE UP CONSERVITIVES!

“I will not vote for him. Period. End of discussion”

Ditto - Screw Juan McClinton! Liberal legislation will be harder to pass with a liberal democrat as Pres. than a liberal republican. As Juan did with the gang of 14 in the senate he’ll be able to do with BOTH houses as Pres. Very very dangerous situation America is in now.

Nobody should make no mistake about this, the MSM picked the candidates on this one. To conservatism they are enemy #1.

Tell me three pieces of Legislation that McCain has authored that has strengthened the pro Life movement?

CFR and Gang of 14 are two examples of McCain authored legislation that did enormous damage to the Pro Life movement's ability to influence election outcomes or achieve favorable Judicial decisions. Given that McCain record, hard to see how anyone can consider McCain “strongly Pro-Life”.

Then what are you doing here? If you feel that way you obviously belong at Democrats Unglued or Daily Kook not a Conservative website.

It seems from this thread that he is not alone in his criticism.

Well, to be fair...Dobson wouldn’t vote for Mitt, Fred, or Rudy..... He is in the tank for the Huckster.

That's very interesting information I hadn't read/heard before your post. Do you have source for it?

Dobson has also showed poor judgment in his opposition to Fred. Plain dumb!

It will be his infamous legacy.

He should have thought about this before he trashed Fred.

I’ll give another piece of legislation: The Assault Weapons Ban.
and.....
Gun control as a health issue under the control of the Surgeon General.
Ammo as hazardous waste.

Take your pick. We have to go with a guy who is going keep the two Demo dorks out of the white house.

There is no way that I’m voting for this DC Corridor Dust-ball.
If this is the kind of nominee that the GOP will be promoting, then they can go to hell.

“And those same evangelicals will give the nod to McCain by voting for Huckabee.”

I’m one evangelical that finds both McCain and Huckabee repulsive. Neither will ever get my vote.

With Al Queda, it's much better to fight the enemy oversees than fight them in my own country. We better know who the enemy is.

With McCain, it would be like fighting Al Queda in this country, in my backyard, with neighbors who would turn me in. That is McCain as president and his effect on the Conservative movement and the Republican Party.

Harsh but true.

History will treat Dobson the same as Perot.

Fred’s humility speaks louder than Dobson ever did.

John McCain,

Authored CFR legislation that seriously crippled the Pro Life’s ability to influence elections. Head of the Gang of 14 compromise that prevented dozens of solidly Conservative Pro Life Judges from being appointed to Federal Appellate Courts.

Being one of a herd who voted correctly on this or that issue does not absolve John McCain of the enormous damage he has done to the Pro Life movement on significant legislative issues that he was the instigator of.

Nor will I...but I will, if the choice is between electors for McCain and electors for Clinton, for for the electors for McCain.

To Dr. Dobson: Unless you are on a slate of electors, you won't vote for McCain either.

Actually....

He’s for Newt.

Gingrich Tells Dobson He’s ‘Sought God’s Forgiveness’

Former U.S. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich tells Focus on the Family Chairman James C. Dobson, Ph.D., he has “gotten on my knees and sought God’s forgiveness” for his personal moral failings in a two-part installment of Dobson’s international radio program airing Thursday and Friday.

Gingrich also discusses his new book, “Rediscovering God in America,” and the rising threat of radical Islam to the West.

On day two of the program, Dobson compares the attitudes of today’s Muslim radicals to the actions of the Nazis in the 1930s — a hatred of Jews and a desire for hegemony and domination.
“It bothers me,” Dobson says, “that many of our leaders don’t seem to get that — Republicans and Democrats.”

Gingrich agrees, noting that “there are 15- to 25-year-old men who are willing to die as long as they kill you.”

“It’s a warrior culture,” he adds, “that has been true historically for 6,000 or 7,000 years.”
The program will be available online Thursday and Friday. Visit the following link to listen: http://listen.family.org/daily/.

Yep, Dobson deciding that Thompson wasn’t Christian enough is part of the reason we’re going to be stuck with McCain, the only guy on our side who could actually make Hillary look like the family values candidate.
