Lou Dobbs alert: Illegal immigrants may get rebates
In their bipartisan zeal to quickly cut a deal on an economic stimulus bill, GOP lawmakers overlooked something that will certainly inflame the conservative base _ illegal immigrants could receive a tax rebate check from the government.

This should absolutely be brought up tonight a the debate.
Most of this money will be wired back home to stimulate the Mexican economy.

Republican aides are also worried that under certain definitions in the House bill, a resident alien who spent at least 183 days drawing income in the United States but was deported _ and still filed a tax return _ could have a rebate check sent to their home country. Ensign will try to prevent this with an amendment to the bill, according to a GOP aide.’
This would be comical, except its our country getting laughed at.
I heard about this last night and thought my head was going to explode I got so angry. Is this one of the changes the Senate wants to add from what the House passed?

My wife and I recently watched “Waitress,” a clever and sweet little film written and directed by Adrienne Shelly. Shelly was A VERY talented lady who also played a supporting role.
She was senselessly MURDERED in her NY apartment on November 1, 2006. Her body was found hanging by a sheet from a shower rod – by her husband. She was 40 and left behind a 3 year-old daughter who will never know her real mother.

I’ve been a regular at local congressional town hall meetings for a few dozen years and noted that starting around 10 years ago, the majority of those there were angry that nothing was being done about the illegal invasion.
Why are we still waiting for the clowns in Malfunction Junction – who can produce convoluted legislative proposals to line their pockets or deliver pork back home and ram it through in the dark of night – to secure our national borders?
Perhaps YOU should get on over to those pre-election public meetings and raise some serious hell – before YOU die at the hands of someone who ought not even BE HERE!
We have enough indigenous criminals. WE SURE AS HELL DON’T NEED TO IMPORT MORE.
I am more concerned that ANY resident of the US are getting what is, in effect, a welfare payment. The fact that Il-LAY-guls are getting some off the top adds insult to injury.
I wish that I could earn it as fast as they can waste it.
Just perfect. My wife and I will not get a dime, our college kids will get $600 a piece, my parents who are comfortably retired will now get cash, and to top it off, illegals will as well. This is the classic example of income re-distribution! I was watching last night and one senator is proposing eliminating the income cap for rebates. He was excoriated by a Dim Senator who said those above the cap, ie Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, etc do not deserve the rebates. I am no Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, but with two kids in college, I could certainly use the cash. Disgusting..........
