It is unclear whether there will be any other Republicans who will qualify for the ballot. That's not at all true. Whoever wrote this article should do a bit more research. The filing deadline isn't until Thursday and others have already been filing.
Nevermind - it looks like I’m the one that needs to do more research (eats crow) - the filing deadline has been 1/31 most years that I can remember, but apparently not this time. Still, others immediately filed so this article is still inaccurate.
