NARAL President Tells Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to Stop Abortion Fight

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- NARAL president Nancy Keenan has had enough -- not of pro-life Americans educating the public about abortion's risks and dangers but of Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama fighting each other. Since before Iowa voters went to their caucuses, the two have been going at it.

The debate started with Clinton attacking Obama on votes he case while he was a member of the Illinois legislature.

Clinton claims Obama did pro-abortion activists a disservice by voting "present" on several abortion-related bills, including one that would make sure babies who are born alive after a botched abortion get proper medical care.

Obama responded to the attack by saying he worked in concert with Illinois Planned Parenthood.

He worked with the abortion business to hatch a political strategy that would protect pro-abortion legislators from criticism from pro-life groups during election time when they would point out votes against the common sense bills.

The fight between Obama and Clinton continued through New Hampshire and into the South Carolina vote, but Keenan says enough is enough.

In an editorial she emailed to supporters, Keenan says the fact is that both are strongly pro-abortion candidates.

"Sens. Clinton, Edwards, and Obama are fully pro-choice. NARAL Pro-Choice America endorsed all three candidates in their previous campaigns," Keenan says.

She chided the campaigns and other groups, like Emily's List that have endorsed Clinton and tried to paint Obama as less than pro-abortion.

"This focus on nonexistent differences between the pro-choice candidates distracts from the real goal," Keenan said.

"All of the candidates have voted pro-choice; have publicly affirmed that they are pro-choice; and have taken actions that back up their pro-choice voting records and statements," Keenan added.

Keenan also said all three support the Freedom of Choice Act, which would put Roe v. Wade into law and overturn countless pro-life limits state legislatures have placed on abortion.

"NARAL Pro-Choice America has not yet endorsed a candidate for president because there are such equally strong pro-choice contenders in the Democratic primary," Keenan concluded. "We understand that other organizations have made different decisions; we respect that."

Rooty's getting crushed, we really need a strong abortionist in the race, don't blow it.

One thing is certain: if Hitlery or Hussein occupies the White House, all forms of abortion will be allowed and encouraged. Even Barbara Boxer's refusal to denounce the idea of protecting the babies who SURVIVE abortion procedures will be looked upon as "a woman's right to choose".
