These boys just keep trying to do themselves in — and then demanding that we bail them out. Someone needs to ‘splain to them that they are free to impale each other any way they want. But, once the inevitable occurs and their health starts to fail (in other words, they sicken and die) ... Well, boys, it ain’t our dance.
In short, actions have consequences. So, live with it (or, in their case, die).
Most of the decline of infectious diseases has come about not through medicine, but through plumbing; by isolating the contents of the human large intestine from contact with human skin, upper gastro-intestinal tract and lungs.
So when people insist on messing about with those contents, we shouldn’t be surprised if they get sick.
