Two Cambridge men were arraigned in Boston Municipal Court after a break-in at Mitt Romney's presidential campaign headquarters in Boston. It is the second break-in at the office in four months.
NewsCenter 5's Steve Lacy reported that Daniel J. Bradley, 28, and Michael J. Sauer, 30, pleaded not guilty to charges of breaking and entering at night with the intent to commit a felony.
Bradley was held on $3,000 bail, and bail from a previous, unrelated charge was revoked. Sauer was held on $2,000 bail.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday, a security officer Boston police got a call about a break-in at the 585 Commercial St. office, , Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley said. When they arrived, police said they saw a blue 2002 Toyota Camry trying to leave the parking lot. Inside the car, police said they found Sauer, Bradley, a crow bar and an Apple iMac computer box. Conley said two open Budweiser bottles fell out when police opened the car's door.
