“Nikolic supports stationing Russian troops in Serbia to “bolster the Serbian position in seeking a solution to the Kosovo crisis and remove the potential NATO threat ... .””

One can certainly understand why they would consider this. I wonder how long it has been under consideration?

I have always believed US involving in bombing Serbia had more to do with Clinton desires to alter the news cycle and who knows what deals were cut with european leaders.

makes ya kinda miss Tito...

I sure hope that 40 years from now we don't have DVDs on sale through PBS on the war with Russian, English, American, Indian, Chinese, Israeli, Arab and Persian young men fighting and dying cause some idiotic Serb killed a Croat who murdered a Bosnian who displaced an Albanian that crowded Montenegran and on and on.....

history is kewl..... if we could only arrange for an archduke to go visit the area.....maybe Oliver Stone can travel to the Adriatic and get a first hand look at a world war for his next blame America movie.
