Actually, in official USG circles, it was a “given” that Saddam had and was trying to acquire more WMD long before Bush arrived on the scene. Clinton said the same thing publicly, as did Albright, Cohen, Berger the whole Clinton national security team. Bush’s CIA chief was a Clinton holdover. What nonsense!

This is just more “Bush lied” propaganda from left wing journalists: and the now hopelessly agenda-driven AP treats it as “news. No wonder our media are dying before our eyes.
