An El Paso family mourns after they get word that their son is killed in the California desert. According to Border Patrol, the uniform he wore may have made him a target.
"This could have been a civilian ran over...but in this case they actually aimed for our agent," said Eric Anderson, Yuma Border Patrol Agent.
The agent killed was Luis Aguilar, 32, an El Paso High Graduate.
Yuma Border Patrol officials said Aguilar and several other agents were trying to stop an alleged smuggler from heading back into Mexico. Aguilar set out road spikes to slow the SUV down, that's when the mid-sized Hummer slammed into the agent, killing him on impact.
The alleged smugglers fled back into Mexico, while agents rushed to Aguilar's side. It's a split moment that ended Aguilar's 6-year career. But Anderson said Luis was more than an agent.
"It is horrible to lose a person like that, not only as an agent, but as a person. He was a father and he was a husband. The tragedy that happed to his family is worse of all."
Luis jr. grew up in El Paso; that's where his mother and father still live. His family says he followed in his father's footsteps by serving in law enforcement. His father "Louie" Aguilar is a bailiff at El Paso County Courthouse.
Tonight, while two countries look for those responsible, his family in Arizona and El Paso mourns after the latest border violence death hits home.

When you start digging into the numbers the only ones that can be sourced with the feds are the number of American murdered in 2005: 16692
I have seen federal numbers for illegals held in jail ranging from 19.3% to 27% of the federal prison population.
Here's a sampling of USA cities wanted for murder. What you'll see is that in big USA cities like LA or NYC most of the murderers are Hispanic. Unknown are the % of illegals. In smaller cities the FBI will post the nationalities of the murderers. About 25% of the most wanted are illegals wanted for murder. This number agrees with the percentage of illegals incarcerated in federal prisons. +-25%Pictures of top 10 most wanted in LA. Up until recent stories about crime in LA posted by the LA Times--the pictures included the nationality of the murderers. They were all foreign nationals and mostly Mexican.

There are currently no exact numbers on the number of Americans killed by illegals. Part of the reason is that the government deliberately obscures the number. I talked on the phone with the head of statistics for the US Bureau of Prisons. He said his office wasn't allowed to publish the number of illegal alien murderers. Rather they were forced to put legal and non legal residents in the same category. I talked to ICE. They put out detailed numbers on illegal child molestors. However, they put out nothing on illegal murderers.
Part of the reason for the silence on the matter is that there is evidence to suggest that most Americans being killed by illegals are black--as is the suggestion in this LA Times Article. Also this article from the LA Times. This makes intuitive sense. While the newspapers are full of gang killings in Mexico there isn't much news about what's happening downtown in cities. Yet its in the downtowns of the USA that the black population is being pushed aside by waves of illegals coming into the country--especially in the sanctuary cities. The illegals have their own gangs. These would naturally come into direct conflict with the black downtown drug gangs--with fatal consequences.

All that said the true number of criminal aliens is far higher than is revealed by criminal aliens in prisons. I guess selling compassionate conservatism and the idea that family values don’t end at the border, is really paying off for Bush. I can’t imagine this and many other negative things would continue to be allowed, if it wasn’t.
We should name the fence in the Yuma area in his honor..or one of the legal gates.

What I’d also like to see is a marker errected every place where a violent crime has committed by an illegal alien on Bush’s watch.
Make them about twenty feet tall and something people can’t miss, particularly the part where it says, “DUE TO THE POLICIES OF GEORGE BUSH”.
They (BP) can’t shoot during a felony in progress anymore. They’ll go to prison.
If he had pulled his gun and shot at the car, and it had swerved and rolled over and the coyotes were injured or killed, he’d be facing charges tonight.
I wonder if his actions were a consequence of Ramos-Compeon-Hernandez etc.

BTW, I don’t think that Campeon comment was off base. It may very well have played into this guy’s decision.
It’s evident Bush is willing to let more agents get killed off, without protecting them.
His gun was probably holstered out of fear of prison.

Because of the two Border patrol agents now langquishing in Prison for doing their job, we now have illegals who think it is fine to run over and kill border patrol agents. Bush should be thrown out of office and a President willing to stop this invasion of our country installed. Vote for a conservative or face additional years of hell from across the border.
