I don’t know where that one appears, but one of my favorite passages from the testimony is where Dick Morris discusses his phone conversations with ‘ol Bill. Morris, you may recall, sometimes let the hooker he was with listen in on his conversations so he’d look like a big shot. Bill was phoning Morris frequently when the scandal first broke in the news and he asked Morris about whether anybody listened in. I’ll try to find that excerpt.

Here is one conversation with Dick Morris and Clinton from the book "The Starr Report".

Amidst the flurry of press activity on January 21, 1998, the President's former political consultant, Dick Morris, read the Post story and called the President.

According to Mr. Morris, he told the President, "You poor son of a #itch. I've just read what's going on." The President responded, "Oh,God. This is just awful....I didn't do what the said I did, but I did do something. I mean, with this girl, I may have done enough so that I don't know if I can prove my innocence....There may be gifts. I gave her gifts,....and there may be messages on her phone answering machine.

You know, ever since the election I've tried to shut myself down, sexually I mean....But sometimes I slipped up and with this girl I just slipped up".
