If you've not already read it, try "Everlasting Man". It's available for free online through the Gutenberg project if you're too cheap to buy hardcopy.

Good choice. That book bears re-reading almost every year. Of his novels, I like Manalive best, with The Man Who Was Thursday and The Ball and the Cross close behind.
