I believe the airplane in the FLICKR page is a Stinson V-77 "Reliant" -- was a navigation trainer.... also known as a "gullwing"...
Dont recognize any faces....
Might name them all....
From Spence... (a south GA contract school - similar ops)
Good hunting...

"Working on wing of Consolidated Liberator Bomber, Consolidated Aircraft Corp. plant, Fort Worth, Texas (LOC)"
That very same factory is now turning out F-16s and parts of the F-22. After building B-24 Liberators (they did!) , they switched to B-36 Peacemakers (They did!) B-58 Hustlers (It really did!), and F-111s (they swung low) before the F-16s.

The “Lady” is probably older than your grandma, If she’s still with us, which is likely, those Texas women are tough. I know she’s older than my mother, who also worked in a WW-II defense plant (fuses) but was too young for the assembly floor so she operated the elevator. I’m a grandpa of 3 myself.
