Hillary Race Baiting?: "People In Your Neighborhood You Didn't See Before"

CNN played a Hillary Clinton political appearance this morning. She talked about the mortgage crisis and portrayed the evils of "your neighbor's house" being foreclosed on. She described "weeds growing" on their lawn, but then Hillary began describing "your neighborhood" changing and "you see people in your neighborhood that you didn't see there before".
What could Hillary possibly have meant, other than poor minority folks moving into "your neighborhood" because of falling housing prices? Her statement was of the type that is routinely considered race baiting, raising the fear that blacks will move into your neighborhood for the first time.
Hillary's audience was largely hispanic, and she was bragging about helping "Latino women" and "Hispanic children". her whole address was very racial in tone.
When Hillary started talking about "seeing people in your neighborhood you didn't see there before", those on the stage with her were nodding in emphatic agreement.
I don't see how Hillary could have meant anything other than poor people, and I think it's reasonable she meant poor blacks. are these people Hillary doesn't want in "your neighborhood"? Is she against poor folks affording homes?
This sounded to me just like Jimmy Cartr's call for "ethnic purity" in neighborhoods, which was roundly condemned.
In light of Obama making inroads in the black vote, it sure sounded like she was trying to play on Hispanic folks' fear of blacks coming into their neighborhoods.

Chris Matthews did say the other day that Hillie was going to play blacks and hispanics against each other in order to try to stick it to Obama.
Boy, the 'Rats sure can pick 'em...

I've they did the proper spade work, they wouldn't have weeds. By the way, has anybody EVER found a case of Clinton saying "spade work" publicly before the recent case?

Democrats never engage in race baiting, have always been on the forefront of civil rights in this country, and no, really, there's no former members of the KKK in the senate.
And Democrats were only upset about 'Star Wars' defense programs because they were busy using the Jedi mind trick on the people of America.

Being in Fairbanks, about one in three is new every year and every day somebody shows up on this little road who was never here before and they pretend to know what they are doing but they just got to Alaska yesterday.

Come on! You don't think a 'rat would make race an issue even where it is not, do you? :-/
Oh man, I can't even type that with a straight face...

It’s only a matter of time before Hillary’s inner WASP emerges. If she’s the nominee, there are still ten months of the kind of exposure she’s never had to contend with on a national stage. Her true nature will be revealed, and it won’t be a flattering image.

Good G-d, what an obsession with Hillary being racist has hit the media.
It’s almost as if the very act of running against a black candidates draws suspicions of racism.
I know that it gives satisfaction to see race-baiting leftists being hoisted by their own petard, but it can’t be good for the country as a whole.

I’m looking for a link, but she said it, CNN showed what was either the entire speech or a good ten minute chunk of it, so the context was clear. She proposed no solution to the mortgage crisis, but she absolutely talked about it causng your neighborhood to deteriorate, including seeing people in your neighborhood that you didn’t see there before. This definitely was being portrayed as a bad thing. I’m not sure any republican, or even any democrat, can get away with this if it is examined publicly.

In light of Obama making inroads in the black vote, it sure sounded like she was trying to play on Hispanic folks' fear of blacks coming into their neighborhoods. Racial wedge politics work. It worked for Bloomberg. He got the largest Black vote ever for a GOP candidate in NYC by calling Fernando Ferrer a racist on black radio ads.

I look for Hillary to slip and say the N word during a heated exchange before this campaign is over. I can assure you she is very capable of it.

Dims for years have mastered a plan that has worked perfectly for them. Keep the minorities down and uninformed, keep them dependent on the liberal dims for all thier needs, convince them that education, hard work, and family is not important, and keeping your ethnic origin is more important that assimilating, learning the language and becoming a proud American. what we see now is Hillary and Obama dividing and conquering an already divided and conquered people all for the illustrious vote. This is what the Dims have come to, despicable street hucksters selling them a dream meanwhile keeping them in chains. They throw OUR tax dollars at poverty, because if it were thier money they would turn and run. The way out of poverty is assimilation, learning the language, education, the family, the church and knowing when your being taken for a SUCKER!
