Fred’s attack on Huckabee was written by the same guy who wrote Mc Cain’s NH acceptance speech. Fred has thrown in with Mc Cain and will formally endorse him after SC.

Fred is running for McCain VP. They are old friends and co-sponsors on the anti first ammendment front "The McCain-Feingold-Thompson proposal bars the national parties, federal officeholders, and candidates from soliciting, receiving, or spending any funds that are not subject to the limitations and reporting requirements in federal election law. This provision would categorically shut down the Washington soft money fund-raising machine. The legislation also provides that state and local parties that engage in activities during a federal election year that might affect the outcome of a federal election, such as voter registration and get-out-the-vote efforts, may only do so with funds raised under the federal limits"

Frankly, I'm curious as to who wrote the "Thompson is only in it to boost McCain" carp, and started spreading it. Must be someone's talking points, because it just appeared out of nowhere two days ago, and is getting inserted in every Fred thread. It's kinda like the "Fred's gonna drop out" nonsense that got spread the day before the IA Caucus.

That is exactly correct. Thompson is a stalking horse for McCain. Thompson and McCain are old friends and if Thompson doesn't win SC, he will promptly endorse McCain. Remember: it was the McCain-Feingold-Thompson campaign finance law. Mitt Romney is still the best of these imperfect candidates. Seeking perfection (Thompson) over the good (Romney) is going to deliver McCain.

Bull.

Your predictions are routinely worthless.

If Fred was trying to help McCain, he could quit and endorse now.

Of course, IF Fred endorsed McCain, his supporters would go...anywhere BUT McCain.
