Repeating this ‘theory’ over and over does not make it true.
Exactly right, and it may also explain why Fred did not go after McCain last night -- If McCain beats Romney in MI and Romney drops out (I would be shocked if he does drop, but he is the one saying he MUST WIN.) -- It give Fred a free run across the South if he can get Huck out of the way.
Then it is down to Fred/McCain/Rudy -- Fred will just concentrate on the true Red States (South and West) and let McCain and Rudy split the Blue States.
And on Hannity's radio yesterday, a SC man called in and complemented Fred by saying 'I think you are a real stud'. Obviously the caller was referring to Fred's new wife and family. What others see as a negative, the South adores.
Troll
I was posting sources because I was asked. And don’t call me a troll. I have been here speaking my mind and exercising my first amendment priviledges.
Why not argue a point rather than call names? Maybe you will convince somebody to support your candidate.
No one can answer that SAME theory over and over. It is only a theory NOT a substantive issue. There is no answering speculation other than to say it doesn't make sense in light of the character of Fred Thompson.
For the record, I didn’t post the rumour in the first place, but I did catch Scarborough saying it. My recurring complaint about many here is that they are lazy and won’t google for themselves. I did a quick google of something like “Fred Thompson” “Stalking Horse” and posted the results to show that the original poster hadn’t made it up. That’s all.
I’ve been here since ‘99 like yourself. simply took offence at the “troll” thing. :)
