MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Midnight votes in Dixville Notch, the tiny New Hampshire town that is within a stone's throw of Canada, put John McCain and Barack Obama in the winners' seats.

Results had one vote for Rudy Giuliani, four votes for John McCain and two votes for Mitt Romney.

HOLY CRAP! Well, Hillary lost Dixville! That’s it! As Dixville goes, so does the nation. 12 people voting at Midnight can’t be wrong.

Dixville Notch is not a town, but the site of the Balsams, a resort hotel high in the mountains. The voters are primarily members of the hotel staff. They vote in a small upstairs room that is decorated with photographs of candidates who have visited Dixville Notch—and that includes just about every major presidential contender as well as quite a few also-rans.

Hillary refused to ever go to Dixville, Dixtown, Dixington, New Dix, Fort Dix and any other place associated with Dix. Humma also is averse to all things Dix.

Hey Freepers—and I mean all of you who have been supporting half-baked candidates in single digits in the polls because they are “pure”—the trend is for McCain too. FR is fiddling while what we stand for burns. Really stupid.

the trend is for McCain too

There have been two states heard from so far. McCain came in fourth in Iowa and got shut out in Wyoming, which has just as many delegates as New Hampshire. I don't see a big trend.
