Oof! Hillary Has Real Problems Now

You need to appreciate Democrat politics to really understand how significant this could become, even beyond Hillary if she gets the nomination. Video here. It sounds like Obama's camp is going to run with it and it could destroy Hillary in South Carolina, where fifty-percent of the electorate is Black.

"Dr. King's dream began to be realized when President Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act," Clinton said. "It took a president to get it done."

There's already an undercurrent of hostility among Blacks against the mainstream Democrat establishment. Creating a bigger rift is not in the party's interest and would take an Obama nomination to avoid a bigger split.

As far as political instincts go, Hillary apparently just doesn't have them. Playing down the roll of King in the Civil Rights movement while heading into South Carolina next week is simply dumb.

At the very least, it puts her squarely on defense in a race she's already losing.

I see Huma has taken to wearing baggier clothes.

is it because
-—it’s winter in NH?

-—Bill is in the area

-—conceal bandages and contusions from the Iowa loss?

What will Hillary be doing on Day One in the Oval Office? She’ll be weaping in a side hallway, near a sink, being consoled by Huma. This has to STOP, folks.

The brothers, and especially the sisters, just don't like the icy white bi*ch.

South Carolina could be a big problem.

In just one week, Hillary has insulted MLK and civil rights movement, the leader of Russia (Putin has no soul), and another stategic sovereign nation, calling for Musharef to step down. Me thinks this is a big story that the MSM is missing. And she thinks she can be the leader of the free world??

The dumbest move she could have possibly made and absolutely hilarious, lol.

Hillary said something to the effect that it took Johnson to pass the Civil Rights Act in 1964 - something that Kennedy started. Hillary then said that the President before Kennedy didn't even mention civil rights. The really funny part was that she obviously couldn’t recall the name of the President before Kennedy. Hillary, here’s a head’s up - Eisenhower.

I believe the Civil Rights Act was put together and introduced by the Republicans during the Eisenhour Presidency. It was vehemently opposed by at least one Dim Sinator, Russell from Georgia, who threatened to filibuster against it - did, perhaps.

In parallel, George Wallace, Dim Guv of Alabama, tried to blockade the state U. to prevent Medger Evers from entering as the first black enrollee.

Yeah, the Dims have great credentials when it comes to the Civil Rights movement. s/off

It's funny, used to be, whenever Huma's name was mentioned, people had to dig to come up with a picture of her, and always the same half-dozen or so pics got posted. Now I'm seeing all kinds of pics of Huma, always with her close to Hitlery. Why, it's almost like the media is trying to hint at something...

(yes, I know what they could be hinting at)

The president before Kennedy didn’t even mention civil rights? Is she serious?????

President Eisenhower sent federal troops to Little Rock to enforce the integration of Central High School. Does she not know her history? Is this act not important because Ike was a Republican?

Hey now, you’re talking about the smartest woman in the world here, lol.

It’s amusing to me that almost always, the actual, complete quotes are not included in the media soundbites, but a sanitized version for public consumption. The campaign and Hillary “clarified” her position later, but the original exchange is on tape...

The way Hillary dismissed MLK, imho, is disgraceful and inexcusable. Hillary showed her true narcissistic, manipulative, ignorant self with her words.

http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/1957_civil_rights_act.htm

The 1957 Civil Rights Bill aimed to ensure that all African Americans could exercise their right to vote. It wanted a new division within the federal Justice Department to monitor civil rights abuses and a joint report to be done by representatives of both major political parties on the issue of race relations.

Eisenhower, perhaps shocked by the news broadcasts of Little Rock, publicly supported the bill. However, the final act became a much watered done affair due to the lack of support among the Democrats. The Senate leader, Lyndon Baines Johnson, was a Democrat, and he realised that the bill and its journey through Congress, could tear apart his party as it had right wing Southern senators in it and liberal west coast ones.
