Don’t count on April in Washington, D.C. to be warmer than March. Last October was a scorcher. We had one of the hottest October’s on record. It doesn’t usually get cold here until late January and it doesn’t usually get hot until the middle of June.

This is great news! The only down side is we won’t see the guy who paints his head in an American flag. I stood next to him the last time. He brings his own bull horn and cuts them to ribbons with his comments. I love that guy.
So, instead of meeting them on the streets and monuments of DC, we may be needed to meet them on one of the campuses (campi?) of a liberal college in DC. The resurrection of Senator (and Vietnam veteran) John Effin' Kerry's "All U.S. soldiers are BabyKillers" hearings will be held (tentatively) on March 14 - 16, 2008, at some as-yet-to-be-determined indoor venue.
The GOE-ers, Freepers, Vietnam and other military vets and families, Rolling Thunder-ers and other patriots were smokin' last March in the freezing cold and wind. I can just imagine how much more feisty they'll all be in the climate-controlled environment of a college auditorium, exercising their First Amendment rights against the America-hating, troop-hating traitors up on the dais.

I haven't heard if the lefties have firmed up their plans for their "Winter Soldier Hearings" yet, but I am listening closely in all the usual places; and I am sure one of our moles will be letting us know the lefties' game plan before too long.
