The scope of Barack Obama's victory in Iowa has shaken the Clinton machine down to its bolts. Donors are panicking. The campaign has been making a round of calls to reassure notoriously fickle "superdelegates" elected officials and party regulars who are awarded convention spots by virtue of their titles and positions who might be reconsidering their decisions to back the candidate who formerly looked like a sure winner. And internally, a round of recriminations is being aimed at her chief strategist, Mark Penn, as the representative of everything about her pseudo-incumbent campaign that has been too cautious, too arrogant, too conventional and too clueless as to how much the political landscape has shifted since the last Clinton reign. One adviser summed up the biggest challenge that faces the campaign in two words: "Fresh thinking."

This article details how lib wheeler and dealers are working to take the wheels off Clinton's campaign.
One adviser summed up the biggest challenge that faces the campaign in two words: “Fresh thinking.”
“She is going to be very, very resistant to all of the white boys coming back.”
I thought this quote was very telling. It sums up much of the whole Democrat party in the underlying racism.
In a nation other than ours, that is.
Yes. Most of the big donors want something in return. And if Hillary fails to get into the White House, they won't get it.
I think the attitude of the MSM and the leftist reporters is changing, too. Nobody wanted to diss hillary as long as she looked as if she'd be in a position to get them fired. But if she loses enough momentum, the press is liable to turn on her and pile on.
Very, very few people actually like hillary. Rather, they fear her, and what she might do to them unless they stay on her right side. Take away that fear, and she is toast.
Which, I think, really means that she has to arrange some sort of accident for Obama very soon. Otherwise she will lose her biggest weapon: fear.
harpy
haha
That’s frightening!
"Reassure"?
"Threaten"?
Watching the fall guy...fall.
Yep, and it's something deeply embedded and won't change, e.g.,
Says one longtime Democratic strategist, who is close to the Clintons: "Fundamentally, she is who she is; she can't change who she is, and maybe this is not her time."
If Hilary implodes, we have the unfortunate chance that Gore might throw his hat in.
Over the years, I've worked with some real bastards, and I get a sick-inside feeling just imagining what it must be like for those within her campaign right now.
No kidding. In the race-obsessed, gender-obsessed democrat party, all Hillary really cares about is that she doesn’t have white males advising her. What a laughable loser.
The danger of the clintons is so widely-accepted that it's an undercurrent in everything.
Everyone knows that they "eliminate problems;" but the MSM allows them to make "incredulous" claims about "the vast right-wing conspiracy."
"Once the African-Americans sense that Barrack Hussein Obama is a winner, they'll jump on his bandwagon and off Mrs. Clinton's*"
Knowing how this Donna (Just Get Me Close, I can do THe Rest) Brazile crook operates, she'll probably broker a deal to let Mrs. Clinton keep the illegal African-American votes, while maybe BHO gets the legit votes + The Ford Family Dead African-American votes from Tennessee.
*Pardon the quotation marks, I'm paraphrasing here.
There is a deep seated hate for Hillary in the press but it is never talked about in public because of the fear factor. They know how she would be if she got the top job. It’s called retribution.
I can't imagine how. Everyone, and I do mean everyone who has even a passing interest in politics, is aware of the reputation of the Clintons. Even if they don't believe it, they have at least heard about it.
That precludes just about every possible injury he might have, down to a papercut.
Hell, if his plane had a real problem, something she had nothing to do with, she still sould be blamed.
I think she is going to have to handle this like every other candidate, talk her way out of it. It's going to be damn tough.
This may turn very pleasant for all of us, it's too soon to tell.
Hmmmm, I guess Karen Tumulty might have been reading FR today -— http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1948856/posts
But they are not reassuring the superdelegates -— they are threatening them.
