I LOVE the pictures. I may print them and send tehm anonymously to the so-called “Westboro Baptist Church.”
I would love to see someone put those pics on signs and use them in a counterprotest. (I got the report about the gay relationship, BTW, out of Phelps’s Wikipedia bio.)
Anybody up for a RICO complaint against these suckers? (Ooh, bad word choice.)

If you go I would tell you to do as I do. I never react to the WBC. Its hard but it can be done. As a member of the PGR thats what we are told to do. It makes sense as the WBC is looking for a reaction . They also love lawsuits. Just go & be there for the fallen soldier & the family. Ignore the WBC. If you know any truckers see if you can get them to use their rigs to block the WBC. Before joining the PGR I was at a funeral where that was used & it worked very well.

Money from lawsuits they file and win/settle when they feel their right to assemble and right to free speech has been infringed upon. IMO, it's all about the money as the more vile they are the more provoking of a reaction and reaction can mean lawsuits and settlements.

I'm not sure if I can be there, but I am tempted to try hard. It IS about the family and loved ones of the fallen soldier, Phelps and his minions should get NO attention.

That is why our brilliant forefathers set up the "trial by jury" system to weed out this type of garbage. If jurors only knew their rights, we wouldn't be in such a mess in this country.

No they shouldn’t. No family should ever have to bury a loved one with the WBC protesting or any other group. But I have also gone to funerals where they said they were coming & then they did a no show. They just love to get everyone all upset. What bothers me is that the WBC demands police protection. So we have to pay to protect their vile protests. Shaking my head.
